Maestro
Klaipeda city is famous for it's deep traditions of jazz music. Every year international jazz festivals, Jazz voices competitions are organized in the city. Klaipeda boasts of the only Jazz club in Lithuania, where live jazz music sounds every night... Here, in this jazz club, a famous group "Maestro" started. The group originated from a team of legendary "Doudi Jazz Band" musicians Algis Kilis (sax.), Arnoldas Jankūnas (piano), and Edmundas Federavičius (drums). In june 2009 a young and gifted bass player Paulius Stonkus also joined the group.
"Maestro" plays jazz-rock and funky style music. This CD is the first work of "Maestro" group. We hope that this is the music for everyone's taste!
"Maestro" plays at jazz club "Kurpiai" every tuesday at 9.30pm.
